I finally got the piece I was missing. I needed to set up each client, add them to a client group and then I can add them to the policy.
New to NetVault and It's easy to set up single server backups, scheduling, destination, retention, etc.
I worked with a tech online/phone yesterday and i thought I had multiple server backups figured out, but I guess I didn't.
I would like to backup the fixed drives on several servers. The scheduling will be a full on Friday and differentials the rest of the week (please don't try to shift me to Incrementals---we do Diffs for a reason).
I've got the scheduling, destination and other options figured out. My problem is the selections. The Administrators Guide, though mostly well written, seems very confusing when trying to set up Policies, Client Groups, Selection Sets, managing sets and everything else.
I'm sure it is much more simple than I am making it out to be, but I am floundering at the moment.
Anyone have a simple (but complete) set of instructions on how to set up a backup to include multiple servers?
